We are an award winning, well established and traditionally run Bed and Breakfast located in Flaxton. We pride ourselves on old fashioned hospitality and we look forward to welcoming you to enjoy what the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer.

Located on 3.5 acres guests can enjoy the peace and quiet on the rear deck overlooking the range and avocado grove whilst enjoying the sounds of nature and beautiful sunsets.

We are located near to Flaxton Gardens wedding venue, and function centre. We are also a short-drive to other of Australia’s most-loved wedding venues; Weddings at Tiffany’s and Maleny Manor.

Our B&B is only 3 minutes drive to the iconic Mapleton Hotel and only 6 minutes to the quaint Montville Village with it’s array of shops and restaurants and just 15 minutes to Maleny and 20 minutes drive to Kenilworth through the beautiful Obi Obi valley. Noosa, Eumundi, Australia Zoo and the famous Sunshine Coast beaches are all just 30-40 minutes. away. Please feel free to contact us regarding children or pets.

Beyond Beautiful! Just can’t get enough of this place. Another stay and absolutely faultless. Warmly welcomed by Pam & David to this beautiful peace of paradise overlooking the hinterland. Beds are amazing, rooms are spotless with attention to detail throughout. A scrumptious 5 star breakfast with local produce cooked by Pam and David will not only have your mouth watering but will set you up for the day.
A must to stay at this place and we certainly rebooked as we left. Best weekend ever!

Exceptional hospitality Our recent stay was an absolute pleasure. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hospitality was exceptional and the breakfast was first class. Highly recommended. We had dinner at a nearby tavern, and the whole experience was very positive.

Avocado Grove - It just gets better Another return visit to what we consider to be the best B&B. We stayed in The Sharwill Suite this time which is downstairs and the largest of the rooms. All the rooms are fabulous, spotlessly clean, amazing beds and 5 star linen. But it’s the hospitality offered by the hosts, Pam and David, which makes this place so special. Both are exceptional cooks and it really shows. Breakfasts are quite special and it’s all the extra touches that makes this place really stand out. Most guests are return visitors and if you stay here you will understand why. Thanks again for another brilliant stay.

Relax with glorious views Beautiful, quiet and relaxing location off the main Montville Mapleton Road at Flaxton. Very close to Flaxton Gardens where we attended a lunchtime function. Our Hosts, Pam and David very kindly offered us transport to and from said function as the roads were not too wide in places. Their attention to detail was amazing, everywhere was spotless, our room, ensuite, lounge/dining area and verandah. Each room had their own private verandah area with comfortable seating.
Breakfast was the freshest fruit salad and the hot breakfast, delicious. Thank you David and Pam for going well beyond the the expected for our 2 night stay. We shall return.

We stayed at this lovely B and B. The hosts Pam and David were very welcoming and looked after us well. The position is in a quiet setting with lots of native birds among the surrounding trees. We stayed in the Sharwill suite where we able to enjoy our Wine and cheese outside our room in view of the garden ..
The room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious and Pam was able to provide our dietary requirements.
Close by are restaurants and other activities.
We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

Relaxing stay! We stayed in Reed room, which had an door on to verandah where you can soak up the sunset over the Blackall mountains in very relaxing atmosphere. Pam and Dave are very hospitable people and looked after us very well.They have a good knowledge about local events and places to visit.Breakfast was delicious, freshly made with local produces. Book directly with them for some great extras. We were very happy that we found Avocado grove to stay at. Thank you very much.

Sleep with the tropical wildlife We needed accommodation as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Flaxton Gardens events venue. This place was available and we were so pleased we chose it. We asked if we could check in early so we could get ready for the wedding and Pam was so obliging. Pam met us on arrival and showed us our room and made us feel very welcome. She and her husband are perfect hosts. The room was very well appointed with all in room amenities including a fridge, coffee maker etc. The en-suite was spacious with fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. It was striking the cleanliness of the space. As Pam and David knew that we were going to a wedding they offered to drive us there and pick us up. So wonderful. Waking up in the morning to the chorus of bird songs from the bush-land so close was a joy.
Breakfast was a delight and we could recommend the Avocado Gardens special of poached eggs on toast with bacon and Half and Avocado. Best we have had for some time.
If you are visiting the Blackall Ranges soon you would do well to let yourself be spoilt by Pam and David at Avocado Gardens. More

Incredible stay on the Sunshine Coast Absolutely fabulous stay! Beautiful location. Incredible and generous hosts who make spectacular tasty breakfasts! Ask Dave for his special Eggs Benedict! Well worth a visit at any time for some rest and relaxation and refreshment! Will definitely be back.

Outstanding! This would have to be one of the best B&B's we have stayed at. The property is just beautiful, everything is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Our first floor room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Pam and Dave are fabulous hosts and surprised us with many thoughtful little touches, even greeting us at the car park offering umbrellas (rain arrived at the same time that we did). Breakfast was truly gourmet and worthy of a 5 star hotel. The local birdlife also know how fresh and delicious the food is, and politely wait for a snack. For us, the location was ideal and central to where we wanted to go. We highly recommend Avocado Grove and will be back!

Had a great stay A great place to stay with plenty to do in the area. Dave and Pam are wonderful hosts and the room on ground level was spacious and very comfortable. The cooked breakfast and chopped up, fresh fruit every morning is delicious. It was our wedding anniversary and Dave and Pam presented us with a nice bottle of wine and cheese platter. We enjoyed the birdlife and surrounding bush in a very peaceful setting. We would stay at Avocado Lodge again.

Terrific Boutique Accommodation Avocado Grove is an oasis in the hinterland of The Sunshine Coast! This is truly a beautiful B&B; Pam and Dave are fantastic hosts and the surrounding scenery is breaktakingly stunning. We stayed two nights and I wish it was longer. The breakfast served to us on the balcony overlooking some beautiful hinterland aspects, is one of the best we’ve ever had. The peace, the nature and the location is all relaxing. But don’t rely on my review, go and see for yourself!

We will be back! My boyfriend and I stayed for a night whilst I was visiting from out of town, from the moment we arrived we were greeted and shown around the property by Dave we were made to feel so welcome and at home. Pam and Dave could not have been more accommodating and the little extras were an unexpected delight. Both myself and my boyfriend have never stayed at a BnB before, however we are certain the bar has now been set well and truly high! we will definitely be back again soon. We cannot thank Pam and Dave enough for creating such a lovely experience for our first trip as a couple.
We will certainly be recommending avocado grove to all of our friends and family!!
Ps - the avocado hollandaise al la Dave was to die for!!

Wonderful stay Stayed for 4 nights to celebrate our wedding Anniversary, Dave and Pam were the perfect hosts nothing was to much trouble. Food was first class, especially the evening meal we had there. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Set on the side of the valley overlooking the trees, and watching all the different birds was extremely relaxing. Room very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Will definitely stay here again when in the area, and totally recommend it.

Such a special place to stay! We booked out the entire house as we celebrated my son’s wedding. As my son and his Groomsmen were getting ready there and the photographer was coming, Pam and David allowed us to arrive early and arranged extra towels and had drinks ready for us all. Nothing was too much trouble. David drove us all to the wedding and picked us up at 11.30pm. There was port waiting for us when we arrived back at Avocado Grove. Breakfast in the morning was amazing! It was such a wonderful place to stay and made the wedding even more special! Thank you Pam and David

A real gem! The B&B is set in beautiful surroundings. Pam and Dave were excellent hosts, their breakfasts were superb and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. They made our stay feel like home from home and even made the local Kookaburras welcome. We shall definitely return!
